Start Your Own Group
Every woman should have community and we're looking for the women who are ready to build one.
For the last four years, women have driven from all over Spokane to gather at our farm — to cook together, eat together, learn a skill, and walk out with friendships they didn't have before. What started as one small group has grown into a waitlist hundreds of women long.
But not everyone can get to our farm. And that's the thing we kept coming back to: this isn't about our farm. It's about what happens when women commit to showing up for each other, once a month, for real.
So we built a way for you to bring The Village to your community — your living room, your backyard, your church basement, your neighborhood — using the exact structure, curriculum, and lessons we've spent four years refining.
You don't have to be a homesteader. You don't have to be an expert. You just have to be the kind of woman who's willing to open her door and say, "come gather with me."
What you get as a Group Leader
We've done the hard part already — four years of trial, error, and refinement — so you don't have to figure this out from scratch.
The complete curriculum The full year of lessons, discussion topics, and recipes, laid out month by month. You'll never wonder what to teach or how to structure a meeting.
Leader training We will host a 3 day camp here on our farm for leaders to experience all the lessons in person as well as to get trained on how to lead your group(s). Learn how to run a meeting, how to lead discussion, and how to handle the things that come up along the way (because they will).
Ready-to-use materials Lesson handouts, recipes, discussion guides, and the member course books — all done for you and shipped to your door.
Marketing templates Application forms, social media content, and copy to help you find your 8-10 women and fill your group with confidence.
Ongoing support You're not doing this alone. I (Amanda) will be available to help you troubleshoot at any point by phone or email. We will also be hosting zoom trainings for all of the group leaders every month to prepare for upcoming lessons/meetings.
Is this for you?
You don't need a farm. You don't need acreage. You don't need to have canned a single jar in your life (though if you have, even better).
This is for you if:
- You've felt the ache of not having "your people" and you want to fix that — for yourself and for other women
- You want to learn traditional home and food skills alongside other women, not from a screen alone
- You're willing to commit to showing up, monthly — because that consistency is where the magic happens
You don't need to be:
- A homesteader or experienced gardener
- An expert in any of the skills taught
- Someone with a big house or a lot of land — apartments and small spaces work fine
How it works
- Apply to become a Group Leader — tell us about your community and why you want to bring this there
- Get trained — walk through our leader onboarding so you feel confident before your first meeting
- Gather your group — use our templates to find your 10-12 women
- Lead your Village — one meeting a month, for two years, with the full curriculum and support behind you

I know what you're thinking... Another email subscription??
Best case scenario: you get amazing printable recipes, exclusive discounts, free lessons, and you're the first to know what's coming next. Our goal is to make an email subscription that we would be excited to be apart of.
Worst case scenario: you decide we're not your type, you cancel your email subscription, and it'll be like the whole thing never happened.
But heads up... We've had less than 1% of our subscribers cancel on us so it's pretty likely you'll fall in the best case scenario camp 😉
